Is 100mm × 150mm the same as a 4″ × 6″ label?
Almost. 100 × 150 mm is the common metric way sellers label 4×6 shipping labels, but the exact imperial size is 101.6 × 152.4 mm — most printers accept either with negligible difference.
Will these labels work in my thermal printer (Zebra / Rollo / other makes)?
Check three things: the printer supports 4×6 (or ≥101.6×152.4mm) media, the roll/core diameter and core ID fit the dispenser, and the printer accepts direct-thermal media (if you’re buying direct thermal). Many Zebra/Rollo models do support them — but always match your printer’s media specs.
Should I buy direct-thermal or thermal-transfer 100×150 labels?
If you need short-term, ink-free printing (shipping, returns), choose direct thermal. If you need long-lasting, heat/solvent-resistant prints, choose thermal transfer (requires ribbon). Direct thermal is cheaper and common for thermal labels 100mm x 150mm.
What core size, roll type and orientation should I order?

Direct-thermal prints can fade with heat, sunlight, or oils and are less durable than thermal-transfer. Some direct-thermal papers are more scratch-resistant or coated for short-term moisture resistance, but for long-term exposure or harsh environments, use thermal-transfer or a synthetic label. Although our printed thermal labels 100mm x 150mm last approx. 1-2 years depending on storage conditions.
