This black-on-white Dymo 45013 D1-compatible standard tape is important for labeling stationery, equipment, files, folders, and so on. The Dymo D1 compatible tape is made of close-polyester and has a powerful self-sticking layer close to almost any surface. The cassette is easily inserted into Dymo LabelManager and MobileLabeler label makers. The videocassette measures 12 mm in width and is launched on a roll of 7 meters.

DYMO will market the 45013 on OEM D1 tape. A number of reputable third-party (compatibility) tapes under the style 45013 also tend to be a lot cheaper and resemble commonplace - most users say they fit and OEM has the best jacket/quality. OEM where you want the service, warranty-backed labeling, or aggressive labeling, and compatibles where premium service is not critical.
How durable is the tape? (waterproof, UV, freezer/microwave safe?)
Dymo 45013 is a water- and scratch-resistant semipermanent laminated tape for a maximum of common temperature extremes (fridge/freezer, even short bursts of use of microwaves). How do I load/use the 45013 in my label maker?
Unscrew the lid of the tape compartment, put the D1 cartridge into the slot (only in one correct key), advance the tape until you see the end of the tape (rightarrow) stack onto the label slot, and snap the lid. What’s the difference between 45013 and similar numbers (e.g., 45113, 43113)?
These are essentially audio tapes, which may vary in length and packaging, that are made of the same D1 1/2-inch black-on-white material. Some retailers misspell 45113 or starter SKUs as "the starter" or "45013." When shopping, match the pitch of D1 + width (1/2), to be safe. On suspicion, compare the size to the assigned product code.
